Matariki at the Museum
Matariki is an exciting time of year for the children at Active Explorers Blockhouse Bay. This year as part of their Matariki celebrations tamariki and staff paid a visit to the Auckland Museum, where they attended a magical Matariki education session, specially crafted for preschool children.
"It was a wonderful experience for our tamariki to visit the marae at the Auckland Museum and explore the story of Matariki," says centre manager Anjana Andrews.
